Mark Johnson — Celebration of Life

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Mark Johnson, a beloved member of the Heather’s family. Mark’s incredible talent and warm spirit made every performance special. More than just a musician, he was a friend, a brother, and a source of joy for our community.

A gifted tenor saxophonist with deep roots in funk and R&B, Mark’s music brought people together in a way that few can. From his early days playing in local bands as a teenager to his time at Berklee College of Music, his passion for music was undeniable.

His presence on our stage was a gift, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and all who were touched by his music and his kindness.

Rest in peace, Mark. You will always have a place at Heather’s.
